If you love crunchy, tangy snacks, these air fryer pickles are about to become your new favorite! They’re golden on the outside, juicy on the inside, and way lighter than traditional deep-fried versions. Perfect for game day, movie night, or a quick appetizer.
🛒 Ingredients
1 jar dill pickle slices (or spears), well drained
½ cup all-purpose flour
2 large eggs
1 tablespoon milk
1 cup panko breadcrumbs
½ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon paprika
¼ teaspoon black pepper
Cooking spray
👩🍳 Instructions
Prep the pickles:
Drain and pat pickle slices completely dry with paper towels. (This helps the coating stick!)
Set up dredging stations:
Bowl 1: Flour
Bowl 2: Eggs + milk (whisked)
Bowl 3: Panko + garlic powder + paprika + black pepper
Coat the pickles:
Dip each slice in flour
Then into the egg mixture
Finally coat in seasoned panko
Press gently so crumbs stick well.
Preheat air fryer:
Set to 375°F (190°C) for about 3–5 minutes.
Air fry:
Lightly spray basket with cooking spray
Arrange pickles in a single layer (don’t overcrowd)
Spray tops lightly
Cook 7–10 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy
Serve immediately!
They’re best hot and crunchy straight from the air fryer.
